NeuroKintsugi:
Executive coaching for neurodivergent leaders ready to stop hiding what makes them effective.

The Metaphor:

Kintsugi: The art of golden repair

In Japanese kintsugi, broken pottery is repaired with gold. The cracks aren't hidden—they're illuminated. The repair becomes part of the object's story, and the piece emerges more beautiful for having been broken.

This isn't a metaphor about damage. It's a metaphor about integration.

The parts of yourself you've learned to hide, mask, or compensate for—the intensity, the pattern recognition that sees too much, the inability to pretend something makes sense when it doesn't—these aren't flaws requiring concealment. They're seams waiting to be traced in gold.

NeuroKintsugi is executive coaching built on this principle: your neurodivergent experience isn't separate from your professional capability. It's woven through it. The work isn't to mask better. It's to integrate fully.

The Problem:

The hidden cost of "passing"

You've built a successful career. By most external measures, it's working.

But you know the cost. The energy spent translating your thinking into formats others expect. The exhaustion of monitoring yourself in every meeting. The recovery time no one sees. The persistent gap between how hard you're working and how sustainable it feels.

Standard executive coaching makes it worse. The advice assumes a neurotypical brain. "Prioritise ruthlessly." "Delegate more." "Manage your energy."

These aren't solutions—they're instructions written for a different operating system. Following them harder won't close the gap. It widens it.

What's needed isn't better masking. It's a different approach entirely.

The Approach:

Coaching that works with your brain,
not against it

I bring 25+ years of data, digital & transformation strategy experience—Google, Microsoft, L'Oréal, P&G—combined with lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD professional.

This isn't therapy. It's not neurodiversity "awareness." It's executive coaching rebuilt from first principles for brains that work differently.

The difference:

  • Standard coaching treats your neurodivergence as a challenge to manage—something to work around on the way to "normal" performance

  • This coaching starts from how your brain actually works. We build systems and strategies that play to your cognitive strengths rather than fighting them. The goal isn't to perform like a neurotypical executive. It's to perform like “yourself”: sustainably, effectively, without the hidden tax of constant translation.

Some of what looks like struggle is actually misalignment. Intensity channelled into environments that punish it. Pattern recognition deployed where it isn't valued. Deep focus interrupted by structures designed for different brains.

We identify where the gold is. Then we make it visible.

Who is it for?

This is for you if you are…

  • You're an executive or senior leader navigating high-stakes environments while managing neurodivergent challenges most colleagues don't see. You are successful by external measures but paying an invisible price in energy and recovery

  • You're a founder scaling a company and finding that the strategies that worked at 10 people are breaking down at 50—partly because your brain works differently under different kinds of pressure

  • You're a high-performing professional who's hit a ceiling you can't explain—you're doing everything "right" but something isn't working…or who's starting to wonder how long you can sustain the current approach

  • You've been recently diagnosed (or are exploring the possibility) and need to recalibrate how you work without blowing up what's already successful. You're not in crisis—but you recognise that something needs to shift before it becomes one

What we work on

Every engagement is shaped by what you bring.
Common ground includes:This is for you if…

01
Energy architecture

Understanding where your energy actually goes - not where you think it should. Building rhythms that protect capacity rather than depleting it. Recognising that rest isn't weakness; it's infrastructure.

Your depth of focus, emotional responsiveness, and drive for meaning aren't problems to moderate. They're instead resources to deploy intentionally. We work on channelling intensity rather than suppressing it.

02
Working with intensity

03
Communication without losing yourself

You think in systems, patterns, precision. Others often think in stories and social cues. We build bridges that don't require you to abandon your natural mode: think translation, not transformation.

04
Sustainable performance

Not productivity optimisation. Genuine sustainability. Understanding your cycles, building in recovery, and designing a professional life you can actually maintain. The goal is to thrive, not just to cope.

05
Integration

Finding coherence between the professional self you've constructed and the person you actually are. Deciding what to keep, what to release, and what to finally make visible.

About me

I'm Alex — founder of Aieutics, executive coach, and strategy consultant with 25+ years in digital transformation.

I was discovered autistic at 49. ADHD followed shortly after.
Late diagnosis, as so many high-achieving women experience—our masking is too effective for anyone to notice the cost. The timing collided with menopause, which has its own way of stripping away the compensations that used to work. The discovery reframed everything: the career decisions, the workarounds, the bone-deep exhaustion of succeeding at something that seemed to come easier to everyone else.

Now I work with executives and founders navigating the same territory. Not from a clinical perspective—from a strategic one. How do you build a sustainable professional life when your brain doesn't match the environment's assumptions?

I've spent the last two years coaching founders through HEC IEI Innovation programs & my own consultancy, working at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and what actually makes change possible. This work is an extension of that—applied to leaders who need a different kind of support.

The kintsugi metaphor isn't decorative. It's how I understand my own journey. The breaks were real. So is the gold.

How it works

  • A 50-minute discovery conversation (90£) to explore fit and discuss your objectives. Not everyone needs what I offer. Not everyone is ready for how I work. Better to discover that before we begin.

Message me here to schedule one

  • starting from 6-session engagement, delivered over 3-6 months. Sessions run 60-75 minutes - long enough for depth, paced for integration between sessions.

  • Video call. I work with clients across UK and Europe.

  • Request a quote for the full engagement. Prepaid at booking.

Why prepaid? This work requires commitment. Showing up even when it's uncomfortable. A financial commitment at the start honours that seriousness: for both of us.

“Alex creates a safe space, that feels accepting, open, and judgement free.
Throughout the time i shared with Alex, she encouraged me to really think about why I do the things I do, helping me build healthier coping mechanisms that actually made sense to my ADHD and Dyslexic brain. Her guidance has played a massive part in building my confidence,
helping me feel worthy, capable, and way less of an imposter.”

“I felt a genuine connection with Alex. Hearing her experiences
helped me reflect on my own in a deeper way.
She validated my feelings and helped me to recognise what was happening in moments
where is was dysregulated, supporting me in understanding why I crash with exhaustion.”

“Working with Alex was empowering, and has given me the courage to progress in my career.
I have a much clearer understanding of Neurodiversity how this displays in me and others
and how to manage it. Alex has helped me to slowly drop my masks and start to rebuild within.”
